Summer Artisan Market

The best gifts are made by hand. Come see a wide variety of items from pottery to jewelry, glass, metal, paper art, and even fashion items. The Artisan Market is open at 10am Saturday July 1st and runs Monday-Saturday until July 8th. The Market is closed on the 4th of July. Price: Free.

Saturday July 1st 2017:

5th Annual Art in the Park

Come down to Memorial Park, 11th Street and 6th Avenue, Bever Falls, PA for an evening enjoying, exploring, and creating. There is fun for the whole family, including face painting, a sidewalk chalk contest, arts and crafts, refreshments, and more! Also stay to enjoy the first of their Free Movie Nights, featuring “Sing”. The show starts at dusk and is shown on 12th Street and 6th Avenue. Bring your own seat and enjoy the family fun. Price: Free.

4 for the 4th of July

Why not celebrate the 4th of July with a 4 mile walk or run? Join the 4 of the 4th of July race where at least 15% of each registration will be donated to Homes for Our Troops, an organization that builds homes for severely injured veterans. Price: $17.

Fourth at the Fort

Commemorate the Fourth of July at the Fort Pitt Museum. The events include raising a 36-foot garrison flag, 18th century military music, and singing of the National Anthem and begin at 11am. Price: Included with Fort Pitt Museum Admission.

Celebrate America PGH

Come enjoy Pittsburgh’s official 4th of July celebration featuring the EQT Flashes of Freedom Fireworks. Festivities include live events, activities for all ages, and a variety of food and drinks. The fun starts at 12:00pm Tuesday July 4th. Price: Free

Fourth of July: Flag Ceremony

Come to the Heinz History Center’s Great Hall and aid in the unfurling of a 36-foot American Flag. Participate in the singing of the National Anthem and a moment of silence for those who have served our country with local veterans before ceremoniously folding the flag. Price: Included in Museum Admission.
